Showroom Finland brings out new cushions and rugs in bright colours and in beloved Moomin prints. All the products are made of 100% quality cotton and the cushions can be used on floor, too. The rugs are suitable for any room like kids room, bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and summer cottages. The patterns on the cushions and rugs are woven and therefore durable, thick and double-sided.
The rugs and cushions come in cheerfully bright and fresh Scandinavian colours, which bring colour to minimalistic Scandinavian homes. Combined with discreet colours, like white, grey and black, they bring joy and playfulness to interior design.
The colour options are pink-orange, green-green and black-white or Moomin prints. The cushions and rugs are reasonably priced.
This summer’s novelty in Showroom Finland’s light collection is a Light light table lamp. It will be available with this beautiful original Moomin print by Tove Jansson, or without a print.
The foot of the lamp is made of black stained plywood and the shade part of polypropylene. The Light light comes in a flat box and doesn’t weigh much, which makes it easy to send or post. The bulb is not included. This minimalistic design suits as well kids’ rooms as any other space!
Last year in Finland plastic bag was chosen as “the most useless thing of the year”. Same year European Parliament approved a directive that forces shops to limit the use of plastic bags and start charging for them. Every European household consumes in average 200 plastic bags per year. This means that over 8 billion plastic bags ends up to a garbage plant after used only once. Maybe we use some bags from our great collection twice, if we throw our garbage in there. However, 8 billion. And that’s only in Europe.
Showroom Finland encourages people to think about their daily choices. In our collection we have a large, strong and foldable eco bag that packs easily in its own pocket and doesn’t require lot of space. It fits easily in your smaller or bigger bag and in that way is always available when needed. In the supermarket, at the beach or when you’re travelling.
Helsinki bags come in bronze, silver, black and in beloved Moomin-theme in various colours. More stylish, stronger and better for the nature than a plastic bag of your favourite supermarket.
